This Privacy Policy describes how Axom PDF Scanner ("the App"), developed by buildwithpijush, handles information when you use the App. The App is available on Google Play for Android devices.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Axom PDF Scanner is designed to process your documents on your device wherever possible. Specifically:

• Scanned documents, PDFs, and images you create or import stay on your device and are not uploaded to any server we operate.
• Text recognition (OCR) and language translation are performed entirely on-device using Google's ML Kit, an on-device machine learning library. No document content, extracted text, or translated text is sent to us or to Google's servers for these features.
• We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or phone number to use the core features of the App (scanning, adding pages, downloading/exporting).

2. Information Collected by Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, which may collect limited information as described below:

Google AdMob (advertising)
The App displays banner and rewarded video advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect an advertising identifier and app interaction/usage data to serve and measure ads. This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

Google Play Billing (in-app purchase)
If you purchase the one-time "Pro" unlock, the transaction is processed entirely by Google Play. We do not receive, see, or store your payment card details, billing address, or any other payment information. Google may retain purchase records in accordance with its own privacy policy.

3. Permissions Used by the App

• Camera — used to scan physical documents into digital PDFs. Not used for any other purpose.
• Storage — used to save, open, and export your PDF files on your device.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share document content with any third party. Limited technical data (such as advertising identifiers) is shared only with Google AdMob as described above, solely for the purpose of displaying advertisements.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Since document content is processed and stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by deleting the files within the App or uninstalling the App. We do not hold a copy of your documents on any server.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
